Audiotricz

Two passionate music lovers, one ambition and non-stop perseverance and dedication are just a few key ingredients that construct one of the fastest rising acts in the hardstyle scene, Audiotricz. This dedicated and ambitious duo has become an iconic name in Hard EDM, representing the future of the genre with their productions and lively presence during their performances.

The two masterminds behind the act, Leon Benschop and Kenneth Kroes grew up with a strong friendship and also a shared passion for listening to and producing music. With both boys having a solid background in sound design within other genres of electronic dance music, their sole focus shifted to hardstyle which has seen them embarking on an exciting and memorable journey to the top.

The Audiotricz story started at the beginning of 2013 when they released their first two tracks “It Could Be” and “We Are As One” on IHDS (International Hard Dance Sessions). Soon after their first releases, many professionals and other artists within hard dance music took interest in them, subsequently resulting in their career kicking off at lightning bolt pace. One particular organisation that saw huge potential in Audiotricz’ uplifting and energetic sound was Scantraxx Recordz, who then signed the duo to the label in June, 2013.

Soon after signing to Scantraxx, Audiotricz experienced an incredible breakthrough that would cement their name into the scene forever – their heart-melting remix with Atmozfears for “Sparks” by Fedde Le Grand and Nicky Romero. Apart from reaching the #1 spot on Hardstyle.com and remaining in the Top 10 for five consecutive weeks, this official remix meant huge things for Audiotricz, who had gained attention on a commercial scale from EDM legends like Nicky Romero, Fedde Le Grand, W&W and more. The impact that this evergreen track had on the scene was incredible, it gained immense support worldwide and has also been recognised as an unforgettable modern classic.

The remainder of 2013 saw Audiotricz soaring to incredible heights with releases such as “Feel Good” with Bass Modulators, “Dance No More” and “Don’t Hold Back” reaching a worldwide fan-base and securing their name on line-ups for Decibel Outdoor Festival, Q-BASE, X-Qlusive Holland (Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam), Xxlerator and many more.

2014 brought even bigger things for the duo as a plethora of astounding new music flowed. Their chart-topping hits “Infinite,” (#3 Hardstyle.com) “Raise Your Hands” (#6 Hardstyle.com) with Atmozfears, “Ghettoblaster” (#6 Hardstyle.com) with TNT and “Momentum” (#9 Hardstyle.com) with John Harris defined their sound as being atmospheric, packed with addictive melodies and positive vibes. Apart from their solo works, Audiotricz also had the honour to release an official remix for popular EDM track “Dare You” by Hardwell and Matthew Koma, which was released on Revealed Recordings.

Performance-wise, Audiotricz’ schedule was packed to the brim with gigs at Intents Festival, WiSH Outdoor, Beat The Bridge, Mysteryland Chile, Dance Valley, Ground Zero Festival and also during the illustrious Amsterdam Dance Event, where they performed in the Heineken Music Hall as a part of the Scantraxx Recordz showcase.

With already a handful of memorable experiences and an exponentially growing fan-base, Audiotricz kept persistent with releasing hits and bringing their 100% energy to every performance which evidently led them to reach some incredible heights in 2015. The year kicked off with a bang and a long flight to Australia where the guys performed for the first time in Sydney and Melbourne as a part of the Noisecontrollers “All Around” tour.
In February, 2015, as a part of Team Blue (alongside Code Black, Toneshifterz and Bass Modulators), Audiotricz had the honour to perform in front of over 25,000 dedicated fans packed into the GelreDome for one of the most prestigious indoor events, Hard Bass. It was a dream come true for Kenneth and Leon and a symbol of how far they had come and how they had established themselves as a highly respected act.

This huge start to the year marked bigger and better things for the duo, who then had the honour to perform at colossal events like EDC Las Vegas, Basscon presents: Resurgence, Rebirth Festival, Dreamfields Festival, Dance Valley, The Qontinent, Intents Festival and WiSH Outdoor (The Netherlands and Mexico) in which they created the anthem “United As One” (#3 Hardstyle.com and #27 Q-Dance Top 100, 2014). Another symbolic event for Audiotricz was Freaqshow, in which they had the honourable task to create the anthem “VIII,” (#3 Hardstyle.com) an unforgettable track that sparked immense amounts of support from fans and fellow colleagues.

Release-wise, chart-topping hits such as “Reawakening” (#1 Hardstyle.com) with Atmozfears, and “A Broken Story” (#7 Hardstyle.com) took the scene by storm, keeping the Audiotricz name solidly cemented as an established act.

The duo also had the opportunity to officially release two official remixes for EDM tracks “Ready For The Weekend” by R3hab and NERVO and “Soundwave” by R3hab and Trevor Guthrie on the highly acclaimed Spinnin’ Records. Their ‘progressive house’ flavoured collaboration “Turn The Music Up” (released on W&W’s label Mainstage Music) with hard dance pioneer Wildstylez also got quite a bit of attention from both hardstyle and EDM fans, proving their versatility and ability to expand their productions beyond hardstyle. The release of “Turn The Music Up” and the handful of official remixes has opened Audiotricz up to an array of possibilities as they have been recognised as a hardstyle act who are at the forefront of the genre.

Another regular addition to Audiotricz’ schedule is their newly established “Infinite” Podcast which began in March (2015) and with airings already on renowned Dutch radio station SLAM FM, it’s safe to say that the podcast is already a huge success! Presented by Audiotricz themselves, “Infinite” aims to showcase new music, older classics and also is suitable for non-hardstyle listeners due to its accessible approach. The podcast also sparked the conception of their video blog “Infinite Journey,” which aims to give fans a peek into their lives, covering footage from their performances and tours.

After just three years of being signed in the hardstyle scene, Audiotricz have proven that hard work, dedication to their productions and performances and a passion for music makes anything possible. 2016 promises huge things for the duo, who have confirmed bookings at the most exquisite events, including EDC Mexico, Airbeat One (Germany), Rebirth Festival and many more! Working audaciously in the studio, Audiotricz are equipped to continue piloting the next-generation of headliners with their distinguishable signature sound.

The best is yet to come for Audiotricz, who are dedicated to carry on their ‘infinite’ journey…
