Last weekend, together with the authorities, we were forced to make the incredibly difficult decision to cancel Defqon.1 due to extreme weather.
We are still absolutely devastated by what happened. Since then, we've been working hard behind the scenes to create a fair solution for every visitor.
Today, we'd like to inform you about the next steps regarding your Defqon.1 2026 order.
Your Defqon.1 tickets
If your order contains Defqon.1 tickets purchased through the official Q-dance shop, you'll soon be able to choose between:
By mid-July, the main buyer of the order will receive a separate email containing all the details and a personal link to submit this choice. You don't need to do anything yet.
While the choice is entirely yours, we'd be honored to welcome you back in 2027. The Defqon.1 we imagined never had the chance to fully unfold. We'd love nothing more than to share the moments, music and memories we had hoped to create with you.
Travel & Stay and add-ons
In addition to your ticket choice, most other eligible products purchased through the official Q-dance shop will be refunded automatically.
This includes accommodations, Travel & Stay products, parking tickets, lockers and other eligible add-ons.
These products cannot be carried over to Defqon.1 2027 and therefore don't require any action from your side.
Because of this, our intention is to prioritize visitors who had an accommodation in their order during the Defqon.1 2027 sale. While we can't confirm this just yet, we'll share more information as soon as it becomes available.

The main buyer can make a choice per Defqon.1 access ticket within the order. This means that some tickets in the same order can be kept for Defqon.1 2027, while other tickets in that same order can be refunded. This only applies to Defqon.1 access tickets. Other products and extras will be refunded automatically.
Only the main buyer of the order can make the choice. All communication will be sent to the email address used by the main buyer.
Yes. You can choose which tickets within the order you want to have refunded. You can’t choose for a different day or a different ticket type.

The main buyer will receive an email mid-July with a link to submit their choice.
Through this link, the main buyer can choose to keep the Defqon.1 tickets for Defqon.1 2027. The choice must be submitted before 31st of July
If no choice is submitted before 31st of July, the order will automatically be refunded.
If the main buyer does not submit a choice before 31st of July, the order will automatically be refunded.
No. Once submitted, your choice is final.
Your full eligible order amount will be refunded. This includes all tickets, service fees, transaction fees, bracelet fee, accommodations, deposits, security deposits, parking tickets, shuttle buses, transfers and other travel products purchased through the official Q-dance shop.
Refunds will be processed from mid of August. You will receive an e-mail when your refund has been initiated. Please note that it can take several weeks before the money appears back in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider. We aim to have all refunds processed before the end of August.
If you choose to keep your order, your current 2026 ticket will be invalidated, and new tickets will be issued for Defqon.1 2027. More information about when you will receive a new ticket for Defqon.1 2027 will be released soon.
Yes. Your access ticket type will remain the same. If anything changes in the setup for Defqon.1 2027, you won’t be able to switch to a different day or ticket type once you have chosen to keep your ticket.
New tickets will be issued at a later moment. More information about when and how you will receive your new tickets will follow.
No. If you choose to keep your tickets, you do not need to pay extra if ticket prices increase for Defqon.1 2027.
No. Once submitted, your choice is final.
Your resale possibilities might be limited depending on payment method the main buyer has used. This will be communicated in detail to the main buyer later in this process.
Yes once the tickets for Defqon.1 2027 have been released you are able to change the names on the tickets. This will work through our normal personalization process
No. You do not need to contact us to receive your refund. Please only contact us if you have not received your refund after 1st of September.
Your refund will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. The refund will be sent to the main buyer of the order. If someone else purchased your ticket for you, please contact the person who placed the order.
No. We cannot send refunds to a different payment method. All refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. If your original payment method is not active anymore, please see the next question.

If the refund cannot be completed because the original payment method is no longer available, we will contact the main buyer by email with the next steps to complete the refund.
The main buyer will receive an email once the refund has been initiated. After that, it can take several days before the money appears back in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Your refund will be processed in the original currency of your order. Please note that exchange rates may have changed since your purchase. This means the final amount in your bank account may be slightly higher or lower than the amount you originally paid. Any exchange rate differences, bank fees or payment provider fees are outside of our control and cannot be reimbursed by Q-dance.

Yes. Refunds are processed automatically to the original payment method used for your order if you do not submit anything. When you no longer have access to the email address used during the order, please get in contact with us via our contact form. We will be able to help you further.
We understand this can be a difficult situation, especially if you are part of a group order. All order-related communication, choices and refunds are linked to the main buyer. If you are not the main buyer, please contact the person who placed the order.
No. Refunds cannot be split between multiple people. The refund will be returned to the original payment method used for the order.
The main buyer of the original order can make the choice and will receive the refund if a refund is selected. If you received a transferred ticket, please contact the person who originally purchased the order. This does not apply on tickets sold via the resale platform.

Yes. Tickets purchased through the official resale platform follow the same rules as tickets purchased through the official Q-dance shop. The last buyer of the ticket can either keep the ticket or receive a refund, depending on the choice available for that order.

The official resale platform is the resale platform provided by Q-dance for Defqon.1. An unofficial third party is any other person, platform or marketplace outside the official Q-dance environment. Purchases made through unofficial third parties are at your own risk.
No. Q-dance can only processes orders purchased through the official Q-dance shop or the official resale platform. If you bought your ticket from someone else, through social media or through an unofficial third-party platform, please contact the person or platform you bought it from.
Your full eligible order amount will be refunded. This includes accommodations, friends camp, security deposits,parking tickets, shuttle buses, transfers and other travel products purchased through the official Q-dance shop.
If you choose to keep your tickets, only your Defqon.1 access tickets will remain valid for Defqon.1 2027.
All other products in your order, including accommodations, friends camp, parking, shuttle buses, transfers and other travel products purchased through the official Q-dance shop, will be refunded automatically. The main buyer will receive more information about the Travel & Stay sale for 2027 once we have finalized this process.
Yes. Security deposits will be refunded where applicable. We aim to process all refunds before the end of August.
If you booked your trip through an official travel partner, your travel partner will contact you directly about the refund process.
We fully understand that this situation may have caused unexpected personal costs, and we are truly sorry for that.
Unfortunately, Q-dance can only refund products purchased through the official Q-dance shop or official Q-dance sales channels. Privately booked hotels, flights, taxis or other personal expenses cannot be reimbursed by Q-dance.
We recommend contacting your travel insurance provider to check whether any of these costs may be covered under your policy.

No. Because you have purchased your ticket via the Reseller and not direct via Q-dance, we have to do a full refund via them. Please contact them, or you will be contacted through them.
If you ordered Click & Collect merchandise through festivalstore.q-dance.com, you can still receive your order at home.

Yes, the All-In RED Experience and the Lunch Buffet will automatically be refunded to the main booker.
Yes. Everyone will receive their silent disco headphone deposit back, whether the headphones were returned at Defqon.1 or not. Your deposit will be refunded through the bracelet refund process.

No. At this moment you have the opportunity to secure the same tickets for the same price of 2026 for 2027.
If you choose not to, you will have the same position as all Warriors that didn’t come this year. Like all years, we expect to have early access for DEDIQATED members as well as for Travel.
Keeping your Defqon.1 tickets is effectively your early access. It secures your access tickets for Defqon.1 2027, so you do not need to enter the ticket sale again.
New tickets for Defqon.1 2027 will be issued at a later moment. More information will follow by email.
There is no early access for ticket buyers of tickets from Defqon.1 2026. Almost all ticket holders get the opportunity to keep their ticket. At the moment we can only offer you to hold the exact same tickets that you have, as Defqon.1 2026 was 100% sold out.
