We have an important update regarding Friday and Saturday Visitors at Defqon.1. First and foremost: Defqon.1 will continue as planned for Weekend Visitors. However, due to the extreme weather forecast for Friday and Saturday, we, together with the authorities, have made the difficult decision to restrict access on those days to Weekend Visitors only. This was the only option to ensure the continuation of Defqon.1 this year.

Over the past few days, we have been in close consultation with the municipality, emergency services, and other relevant authorities regarding the expected heat. Together, we explored every possible measure to improve the safety and wellbeing of our visitors. However, despite the additional precautions put in place, the combination of the forecasted temperatures and the visitor numbers expected on Friday and Saturday creates risks that we are not willing to take.

Therefore, holders of Friday and/or Saturday Tickets will not be able to attend Defqon.1 on those days.

This decision was not made lightly, and it comes with a very heavy heart. We know how much this weekend means to all of you. However, the health and safety of our visitors must always come first.

By significantly reducing the number of visitors on-site, and with the additional measures that have been implemented, we believe, together with the municipality and emergency services, that we can provide a safer environment for all Weekend Visitors. This includes more available shade, better access to facilities, and less crowding during peak moments.

In addition, we have decided to cancel the Warrior Workout on Saturday. Given the expected temperatures, we do not believe it would be responsible to host a large-scale workout. POWER HOUR will go ahead as planned, but will be moved to 19:00.

We fully understand the disappointment this brings to everyone holding a Friday and/or Saturday Ticket. Compensation will follow, and we will share further details after the weekend. We kindly ask for your patience while we focus on ensuring a safe event for everyone on-site.

For Sunday Visitors: we look forward to welcoming you when Defqon.1 opens its gates on Sunday.

Both we and the authorities will continue to closely monitor the weather situation throughout the weekend. Should additional measures be necessary, we will keep you informed.

Monday the campsite closes at 12:00.

WEEKEND TICKET AND DAY TICKET 
With a Weekend Ticket, you can enter and leave the festival and campsite as many times as you want by checking in and out with your bracelet at one of the camping exits. However, you are only allowed to bring in drinks (4.5 liters per person, no more than 14.9% alcohol) and food the first time you enter. With a Day Ticket, you can enter only once. If you leave the festival grounds, you cannot re-enter.     
 
INFO STANDS  
The info stands on both Wasted Lands are open 24 hours a day. The stands will be open from Thursday 12:00 until Monday 12:00. The info stands on the festival grounds are open during festival opening hours (11:00 – 23:00). If you have a question, remark, complaint, issue, problems with your bracelet or an item for the lost & found, please go to the nearest info stand. We are happy to help you with whatever is on your mind.
