The minimum age for entry to the festival is 18 years. Upon entry, it is mandatory to show valid identification. Without valid ID, entry to the festival may be refused.

Monday the campsite closes at 12:00.

WEEKEND TICKET AND DAY TICKET 
With a Weekend Ticket, you can enter and leave the festival and campsite as many times as you want by checking in and out with your bracelet at one of the camping exits. However, you are only allowed to bring in drinks (3.5 liters per person, no more than 14.9% alcohol) and food the first time you enter. With a Day Ticket, you can enter only once. If you leave the festival grounds, you cannot re-enter.     
 
INFO STANDS  
The info stands on both Wasted Lands are open 24 hours a day. The stands will be open from Thursday 12:00 until Monday 12:00. The info stands on the festival grounds are open during festival opening hours (11:00 – 23:00). If you have a question, remark, complaint, issue, problems with your bracelet or an item for the lost & found, please go to the nearest info stand. We are happy to help you with whatever is on your mind.

TO ALL THE WARRIORS 
4 days of partying requires lots of energy. Take some rest, drink, sleep enough, and keep in mind that the evenings and nights could get cold. Take care of yourself and each other, so we can all look back at another legendary edition.  
 
Do you need a moment of rest during the festival? Then you can visit one of our chill-out areas to unwind and recharge by enjoying the finest relaxing beats played by our teams of music DJs.  
 
 

TICKET TYPES 
Defqon.1 offers different ticket types, each providing access to specific parts of the festival. 
- Weekend Tickets – Access to all four days of the festival, including the camping. 
- Weekend Premium Tickets – Access to all four days of the festival with additional benefits, such as access to exclusive areas and premium facilities. 
- Friday Tickets – Access to the festival grounds on Friday. 
- Saturday Tickets – Access to the festival grounds on Saturday. 
- Sunday Tickets – Access to the festival grounds on Sunday. 

Please note that there are no day tickets available for Thursday. 
Make sure you are aware of what your ticket includes, as access and facilities may vary per ticket type. 

TICKET AVAILABILITY  
Tickets are available via the official ticket shop. Please visit the shop to check current availability and secure your tickets. 

TICKET PERSONALIZATION 
All tickets must be personalised with the ticket holder’s full name, exactly as stated on their ID or passport, before the festival. Personalization is required to receive your festival bracelet. You will only be able to access the bracelet shipping form once all tickets in your order have been personalised. Please note that using nicknames or incorrect names is not allowed and may result in issues with entry to the festival. 

 
The deadline for ticket personalization is June 22. Tickets that are not personalised by this date may not be valid for entry. 
Make sure to complete personalization in time to avoid any issues with receiving your bracelets and entering the festival. More information can be found in the FAQ.  

WHERE CAN I FIND MY DEFQON.1 2026 TICKET? 
The main buyer received an email from Bleep to personalize your tickets. After personalizing, you’ll receive an e-mail to download your tickets. Click on the following link in case you haven’t received your tickets after successfully personalizing them. Please note that only the main buyer will receive this email. 
 

TICKET CHANGES 
I WANT TO SELL MY TICKET. IS THAT STILL POSSIBLE?  
You can buy or sell your tickets through the resale platform until May 1st. 

TICKET REFUND POLICY 
All ticket sales are final. It is not possible to request a refund after completing your purchase. If you are no longer able to attend, It’s possible to transfer the ticket to someone you know, via the My Order button on your confirmation email. If you purchased your ticket including insurance, you are able to request a refund via www.xcover.com.   

CAN I UPGRADE MY TICKETS TO PREMIUM? 
It is not possible to upgrade regular Defqon.1 tickets to Premium. Only Weekend Premium tickets provide access to Premium areas. 

However, you can purchase an upgrade for the Exclusive RED Experience Deck via the provided link or by contacting hospitality@q-dance.com. 

Please note that upgrades are only possible if you already hold a valid ticket (regular or Premium) for the specific day you wish to book the experience for. 

BRACELET INFORMATION 
WHAT IS THE LEGENDARY BRACELET? 
The Legendary Bracelet is provided to everyone in possession of a Defqon.1 Ticket.  
It serves as an entrance ticket and as a payment method during the event, and you are able to transfer money via the Defqon.1 app, via this link or on-site at the self-service station or at one of the top-up desks with staff Premium ticket holders can use the bracelet to enter the Premium Decks.

CAN I ENTER DEFQON.1 WITH A BRACELET REGISTERED UNDER SOMEONE ELSE’S NAME? 
We want to avoid any disappointment at the entrance at all times. The risk of issues is highest when tickets are obtained through unauthorized resellers. If your bracelet is not registered under the correct name, Q-dance reserves the right to deny access upon verification. 

IF I BUY A BRACELET FROM SOMEONE WHO HASN’T REGISTERED IT YET, CAN I STILL REGISTER IT IN MY OWN NAME? 
Yes, an unregistered bracelet can still be linked to a different person. You can connect it to your account via the activation portal. Make sure that the original owner unlinks the bracelet from their account before you do so.

CAN I SELL MY BRACELET? 
No, the legendary bracelet cannot be sold and will be automatically deactivated. No further action is required. Please note that it is not possible to request a refund for the legendary bracelet (€12,50 per bracelet) when you sell your tickets. 
If you personalised your tickets and completed the address form before the 1st of June the bracelets will be shipped to you.  
If you haven’t personalised your ticket in time or didn’t fill in your address form, you can pick up your bracelet at one of the bracelet pick-up points at the entrance. 

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY BRACELET AFTER PURCHASING A TICKET THROUGH THE RESALE PLATFORM? 
If you personalised your tickets and completed the address form before the 1st of June the bracelets will be shipped to you.  
If you haven’t personalised your ticket in time or didn’t fill in your address form, you can pick up your bracelet at one of the bracelet pick-up points at the entrance. 
 

BRACELET SHIP AND COLLECT 
WHEN DO YOU SHIP MY BRACELET? 
If all tickets have been personalised and the main buyer confirmed the shipping address before May 1st and we ship to your country, your bracelets will be shipped out in May. 
All bracelets are shipped in the first week of June.  
If you haven’t personalised your tickets or confirmed the address before June 1st, no need to worry. You’ll be able to collect your bracelet at one of the bracelet pick-up points at the entrance of the Festival.  

TO WHICH COUNTRIES CAN YOU SHIP BRACELETS?

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF YOU DON’T SHIP TO MY COUNTRY?

You can pick it up at the main entrance of Defqon.1 starting on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
This year, we’re also giving you the opportunity to collect your wristband earlier at Schiphol Airport from Monday, June 22, daily between 09:00 and 21:00.
Prefer to start your journey in Amsterdam? From Monday, June 22, you can also collect your wristband at AMAZE Amsterdam, daily between 11:00 and 18:00. Besides your pick-up, you and a friend can experience AMAZE Amsterdam together with an exclusive 1+1 ticket offer.
You will soon receive an email where you can choose your preferred wristband pick-up location.

1. GET YOUR BRACELET: Pick up your bracelet at one of the pick-up locations mentioned above. Make sure to bring your e-ticket and a valid ID. After confirming your ticket, you’ll receive the Legendary Defqon.1 Bracelet. 
2. ACTIVATE YOUR BRACELET: Before entering the festival, you’ll need to activate your bracelet. Just scan the QR code in the box and log in to your Q-dance account. No internet? No worries! There’s free Wi-Fi available at the Bracelet Pick-up.  If you're picking up multiple bracelets, make sure to give the right bracelet to the correct person and to activate your personal bracelet only. 
TIP: Create your Q-dance account in advance to speed things up at the gate. 

HOW DO WE DIVIDE THE BRACELETS, IF OUR GROUP TRAVELS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES? 
Access to Defqon.1 is only possible with a bracelet. All bracelets will be shipped to the main buyer, it’s important to make clear arrangements within your group on how to distribute before Defqon.1.  
If all tickets have been personalised, the main buyer confirmed the address before June 1st, and your country is within our shipping region, your bracelets are currently being shipped. 
Please note: It is important that the correct bracelets are distributed by the correct people. You can find your name at the bottom of the bracelet box. When activating your bracelet, make sure to activate only your own.

BRACELET ACTIVATION 
HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY LEGENDARY BRACELET? 
First, make sure you have the correct bracelet as all bracelets are connected to your personal information. You can find your name at the bottom of the Bracelet box.   
To activate your Legendary Bracelet follow the steps below.  
Scan the QR code inside the bracelet box  
Step 1 
Take your personal Bracelet from the bracelet case. You can find your name on the back of the bracelet case. It is very important to only activate the Bracelet that belongs to you personally.  
Step 2 
Scan the QR code on the inside of your bracelet case or go to this website.  
Step 3 
Log in to your Q-dance account.  
Step 4 
Click on the “Activate a bracelet” button and fill in:  
Bracelet name – This is the name you give to your bracelet to help you identify it later. You can name your bracelet anything the field allows. We advise you to give it a name that you will recognize the bracelet by.  
Bracelet ID - You can find the unique ID on the back of your bracelet.  
PIN - You can find the unique PIN code of the back of your bracelet.  
Step 6 
Click on the “Claim bracelet” button.  
Step 7 
Your bracelet is now activated. 
Please note: In case you have multiple day tickets, you’ll receive one Bracelet per day. Each must then be activated separately by the person using the bracelet, repeating the same steps as above. 
Make sure to activate your bracelet in advance for a smooth entry. If it is not activated, you won’t be able to enter the festival. 
 

BRACELET PROBLEMS 
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY BRACELET, WHAT NOW? 
If you have not received your bracelet in time, but you received confirmation that your bracelet was Shipped. Please visit the Bracelet Information & Pick-up which can be found at  the car, bus and priority entrance.  Make sure you have your E-ticket and ID with you. 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY BRACELET DOES NOT WORK AT THE ENTRANCE? 
If your bracelet is not working, please visit the Bracelet Information & Pick-up at the entrance. In case you want more information about the bracelets, you can use this link.  

I LOST MY BRACELET, WHAT NOW? 
If your bracelet is lost, please visit the Bracelet Information & Pick-up at the entrance. Make sure you have your ticket and ID ready.

Make sure to top up your bracelet first by clicking the top up button in the Defqon.1 app or via this link. 
After ordering, simply scan your bracelet at the devices presented by the staff.  
Merchandise can be purchased using your bracelet. 
 
CAN I PAY WITH CASH? 
No, you can only top up your bracelet with cash. All purchases can only be made with the legendary bracelet during Defqon.1.   Merchandise can still be purchased using cash or card.

 
WHAT ARE THE EXCHANGE RATES? 
The exchange rate is calculated in Euros and depends on your payment provider.  

HOW DO I CHECK MY TRANSACTION HISTORY?  
You can check your transaction history by clicking the manage your bracelet button in the Defqon.1 app or via this link. 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO REQUEST A REFUND AFTER THE EVENT? 
Should you have any balance remaining after Defqon.1, we will refund it automatically. Within three weeks of Defqon.1 you will receive your remaining balance as a refund. The refund will be credited to the bankaccount number we have on file. You do not have to do anything yourself. 
For carrying out this automatic refund we charge an amount of two euros per bracelet. This amount will automatically be deducted from the remaining balance. 
 
 
DO I STILL NEED TO BRING A TICKET IF I HAVE A BRACELET? 
Your activated bracelet is your entrance ticket. 
However, make sure you still have access to your valid e-ticket, as it may be required in case of any issues with your bracelet. You will find your ticket on your email and in the Defqon.1 app.

What do I need to enter Defqon.1? 
You will need the following:  
- An activated bracelet

- Your bracelet must be scanned upon entry

* For safety, always take a photo of the back (incl. the serial number) of your Bracelet.  

There are many ways to travel to Defqon.1. We recommend using public transport or organized bus travel for the most convenient journey. 

Plan your trip in advance using the NS Travel Planner or the 9292 app. Please note that travel information is updated closer to the event, so make sure to check these apps again shortly before departure for the most up-to-date travel information.

Please keep in mind that the shuttle bus (to and from Dronten) service is meant for Weekend Warriors. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you cannot reach Defqon.1 by public transport. There will not be any shuttle buses available at surrounding train stations and the festival grounds. 
There is no public transport connection when the festival ends on Friday and Saturday. 
Planning to leave on Sunday evening? Do not forget that the final shuttle bus leaves before the end of the festival (19:00 – 23:00 to Dronten Station). 
 

CAR 
Are you driving to Defqon.1 by car?  
Please follow the yellow 'Parking' signs. For day visits, you can follow the signs that say: 'P day visitors'. 
For weekend parking, you can follow 'P Camping' or 'P Priority'. These routes are clearly marked from all roads.  
For Park + Ride, you can follow P+R signs. Please check your ticket which parking you need to go to and follow instructions given to you by traffic officers, stewards and/or parking area staff.

PARKING CARDS 
We have three types of parking cards: 
Regular Parking (access to campsite 5-6) 
Priority Parking (access to campsite 1-6) 
Park + Ride (access to campsite 1-6) 
Campsite 0 is only for visitors who booked an accommodation at the Highlands or the Sanctuary. If you booked an accommodation there you can always get to Campsite 0, regardless of which transport you travel with or which parking card you have.

ON LOCATION

Note: If you want to buy your parking card on location, you can only pay by card. We recommend buying your parking card online. It is cheaper and it will prevent queues at the parking areas. 
With a Priority Parking Card, you’ll have exclusive access to our parking area located at the Northside of Defqon.1, adjacent to campsite 0 (The Sanctuary and The Highlands). You can park your car close to the festival grounds and you have less chance of getting stuck in traffic upon arrival and departure because you come via a different route. If you purchased a Travel & Stay accommodation, you’ll be able to park as close as possible to your accommodation. Keep in mind that Priority Parking is only available in combination with a Defqon.1 Weekend Ticket. 

PARKING TICKET GUIDELINES 
You only need one parking ticket per car, regardless of how many people are in the vehicle. This applies to all parking tickets (Priority, Regular and Park + Ride). If you have a Park + Ride ticket, the shuttle bus service is included. Please note that Park + Ride tickets can only be used once — it is not possible to enter and leave the parking area multiple times with this ticket. With a Weekend Parking ticket, you can enter and leave the parking area once every festival day. 

ALLOWED VEHICLES 
Be aware we don’t provide any charging points for electric cars. The Defqon.1 parking lots are only meant for cars, so it is not allowed to park your camper, caravans, trailers or big vans. Small vans are allowed (max. 9 passenger van). It’s not allowed to sleep in your car or to camp in surrounding areas outside of the Defqon.1 Camping Grounds. A solar carport has been installed over the Defqon.1 parking area. Because of this, please note that there are limited dimensions for vehicles parking here. You can find these below. 

MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS 
We strongly recommend traveling to Defqon.1 with cars that have a height of less than 1.90 meters. Cars above this height are not able to park on the normal parking terrain and are therefore referred by the parking attendants to park in another designated area. From there, you will have to walk a longer distance to the entrance of Defqon.1. The maximum dimensions for the solar-carport area is: 4.4 meters length, 1,90 meter width, and 1,90 meter height. 
These maximum dimensions do not apply to the Priority Parking and the Park + Ride. With Priority Parking, you will enter campsite 0 (reserved for The Sanctuary & The Highlands) directly, and everyone using the Park & Ride will instantly gain access to campsites 1-4 through the Bus Entrance. The Regular Parking will only give you access to campsites 5-6. Are some of your friends going by bus and others by car? In this case you can walk over to your friends at campsite 5 and 6 so you can camp together. It is not possible to take your friends, who came by car, to campsite 1-4. 
Please note that the Priority Parking cards are sold out.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT 
Our advice is to download the NS Travel Planner or 9292 OV app (https://9292.nl/) and navigate to Dronten train station (please note, this is only for Weekend visitors). If you have a Weekend Ticket, you can buy a shuttle bus ticket from Dronten Station to Defqon.1 Camping Grounds via the Defqon.1 shop or at the bus stop. Please note that buying a ticket online is cheaper and it will prevent queues at the bus stop.

DEFQON.1 TRANSFER SERVICE 
One of the most popular and convenient travel options to the Holy Grounds is by transfer bus. Defqon.1 organizes bus transfers that will take you from four of the biggest train stations in The Netherlands straight to the bus entrance next to the Defqon.1 Camping Grounds. If you are bringing your own tent, coming by Bus Transfer guarantees a spot on campsite 1 to 4 closest to the festival grounds. Please note that these transfers are only suitable for our Weekend Warriors as they will not return before Monday.

NATIONAL PICK-UP POINTS 
The Organized Buses in The Netherlands can be booked in our ticket shop and can be found under ‘transportation’. These buses are organized by Partybussen. For questions regarding this transportation option, you can contact info@partybussen.nl. When leaving Defqon.1, please follow the ‘Bus Exit’ signs to find your bus. 

PARK+RIDE OPTION 
If you use the Park + Ride option, you don’t need to buy a shuttle bus ticket, your shuttle bus ticket is already included. 

Perks of the Park + Ride option: 
- Park your car the whole weekend at a lower rate of € 25,-, including free shuttle bus service 
- Access to the festival or Camping Grounds via the Bus Entrance instead of the regular entrance 
- Shorter queues upon arrival 
- Guaranteed of a spot on campsites 1-4 (and you don’t have to cross the infamous bridge) 
- Shuttle bus going from the parking to the Holy Grounds over a designated route, avoiding all traffic jams 
- Besides the limitation on drinks - 4.5 litres per person, no more than 14,9% alcohol - you are allowed to bring one big suitcase and a backpack per person. Things that can be folded, like a tent or a chair, are also allowed. It is not allowed to bring handcarts on the P+R shuttle bus, due to its capacity.

BIKE 
There will be two bicycle racks which will be indicated by yellow signs. The bicycle rack is near the bus entrance, and you will be able to enter the event from there. The same counts for visitors who come by foot. 
If you come with an electric bike, it is not allowed to bring the battery to the camping or festival grounds to put in a locker. Leaving the battery on your bike is at your own risk for theft. 

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE 
KISS & RIDE 
Are you being dropped off and picked up? Please make sure to follow the “Defqon.1” signs first. After following these signs, the ‘Kiss & Ride’ location will be indicated separately. Please do not choose a different pick-up location after the festival, as some roads may be closed. The ‘Kiss & Ride’ location will be clearly marked on all roads near Defqon.1 for both drivers and visitors. Visitors can also order an Uber during opening hours. If you choose to get an Uber, their pick-up location will be at the Kiss & Ride. The Kiss & Ride is accessible 24 hours a day. 

TAXI 
There will be a taxi stand available at the parking area. This location will be clearly marked for both taxi drivers and visitors. Taxis aren’t allowed to stop at other locations. We strongly advise you to arrange a different kind of transportation, since finding a taxi after the event might cause disruption. 

TRAFFIC INFORMATION 
We strongly recommend traveling to Defqon.1 by public transport, as this is generally the most efficient and reliable way to reach the festival. Public transport options are well organized and help you avoid potential delays. 
If you choose to travel by car, please be aware that it can get very busy around the festival area. You may experience heavy traffic and long waiting times, especially during peak arrival and departure moments. 
We advise you to plan your journey in advance, follow official traffic instructions, and allow for extra travel time to ensure a smooth arrival. 
 
CAMPING SPOT 
If you come to Defqon.1 by car, you will get a spot at campsite 5 or 6. If you prefer to stay at another campsite, we highly recommend taking the bus to Defqon.1. Bus attendees (also Park + Ride) are guaranteed a spot on campsite 1-4. 
As an eco-conscious festival, we wholeheartedly encourage everyone to use organized transportation. By reducing the number of cars heading to Defqon.1, we can also minimize pollution and decrease traffic congestion. 
Do you have a spot at The Sanctuary, The Highlands, The Friends Camp or are you in possession of a Premium ticket? Then please take the fast lane at each entrance to access campsite 0-4.

We offer a 3-day breakfast box, complete with the ingredients to start your day in a healthy way. The breakfast box can be picked up from Friday 26 June to Sunday 28 June between 08:00 and 11:00. Please note: on Monday there is no breakfast box available for pick-up, but several food vendors will be open on the Wasted Lands. 
Coffee and tea are not included and can be purchased separately on location. At both The Highlands and The Sanctuary, we offer a regular and a vegetarian version of the breakfast box. You can select your preference during the booking process. 
The 3-day breakfast box can be ordered online. You will receive your voucher(s) during check-in – make sure to keep them safe, as they are required for pick-up.

DEFQON.1 FRIENDS CAMPS 
The Friends Camp is a reserved camping spot for you and your friends in a designated area. Prior to the festival, you will receive a notification in the Defqon.1 app with the exact location of your Friends Camp. Make sure to download the app in advance and take note of your Friends Camp address before arrival. 

Check-in for the Friends Camp is handled digitally via the app, and your bracelet will grant you access to the designated area. Upon arrival, simply follow the signage on-site to find your Friends Camp. Your spot can be recognized by a sign displaying the name and address of your Friends Camp. 

Please note that all Friends Camp tickets must be personalised at least one week in advance. 

It is possible to access the Friends Camp from Thursday 12:00 CEST. Only the main booker is responsible for managing the booking. It is no longer possible to make name changes to your booking. If you have any questions, please contact travel@q-dance.com.  

A Friends Camp at Defqon.1 is the perfect way to share the ultimate festival experience with your friends. Enjoy a pre-reserved piece of land, exclusively for you and your fellow Warriors, where you can set up your own tents or choose to purchase the Defqon.1 Tent and/or Sleeping Package for added convenience. This package does not include tents. There are three types of Friends Camps, each offering unique perks: 
- Friends Camp Regular: A pre-reserved camping area where you can create your own setup. 
- Friends Camp Comfort: Includes a picnic table (one per eight people) for extra convenience.

DEFQON.1 TENT PICK-UP PACKAGE 
For the Weekend Warriors who don’t like to bring a tent, we previously offered the limited edition 2-person Defqon.1 2026 pop-up tent, a true icon on the campgrounds. These tents are now sold out. 

Still need a tent? Our Defqon.1 Legacy tents will be available through the Click & Collect shop and at the Camp Gear Stores on the Wasted Lands. Camping gear ordered via Click & Collect can be picked up at one of the Pick-up Points at the Defqon.1 campgrounds. 

Please be aware that the Defqon.1 Campgrounds are only accessible for guests in possession of a weekend entrance ticket.

 
COTTAGES & APARTMENTS 
Prefer to rave during the day and relax with your friends by night? The Defqon.1 cottages and apartments, which are located at one of the holiday parks close to the Holy Grounds, are your accommodations. We offer cottages & apartments at:

HOTEL PACKAGES 
All Warriors need a good night of sleep after a long day of raving at the Holy Grounds. We’ve got you covered with one of our dedicated Defqon.1 hotels, which are located closest to Defqon.1 and include a Defqon.1 welcome gift. Or choose to stay at one of our other hotels with a defqon.1 hotel package. 
All the hotels are available in combination with both a day- and weekend ticket and always include a 2- way Saturday transfer to and from the festival grounds, a 2-way transfer for the other days can be booked with the reservation of your hotel package.   
Please keep in mind that these are fixed transfer times. If you missed the bus or if you are not able to make it to the bus on time, Q-dance travel cannot arrange any other transportation or provide refunds.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT CAMPING GROUNDS 
It is possible to check in and check out at the campgrounds 24/7 from Thursday 12:00 – Sunday 23:59 CEST, after Sunday 23:59, you can only check out (until the closing of the campsite). Check in and check out times at the holiday parks and hotels vary per location and can be found in the information email sent out three weeks before Defqon.1. Unable to find this email? Please send an email to travel@q-dance.com to request this information.  

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT AT THE ACCOMMODATION 
Only the main booker can check in at the accommodation with a valid accommodation voucher, ID card and entrance ticket. The accommodation voucher can be downloaded  from the Travel & Stay confirmation email. Unable to find your confirmation? Please send an email to travel@q-dance.com to request a new confirmation email.

DEPOSIT 
Several accommodations for Defqon.1 2026 require a deposit. This deposit must be paid online and in advance. If the deposit applies to your booked accommodation, you will receive a deposit email from us, approximately 2 weeks before Defqon.1 2026.  
Please note, checking in is only possible if the deposit is paid in advance. It is not possible to pay the deposit in cash on site, so make sure your deposit is paid online. 

SETTING UP YOUR OWN TENT 
Please consult with our camping stewards before setting up your tent. They will help you find the perfect spot. Only tents are allowed at the campsite. You can’t bring a car, camper, caravan or tent trailer. You can use your tent again next year, so don’t forget to take it down and take it home. 
There is no maximum tent size, but keep in mind that space is limited, so we ask not to come with a larger tent than necessary. The same counts for party tents. 

CAMPING FACILITIES  
SHOWERS 
In the bathhouses, each mirror has one outlet for a hairdryer, curling iron or hair straightener. You can find the bathhouses at a central point on each campsite. For exact locations you can check the festival map. Each shower session costs €4,-. 

TOILETS  
Campsite toilets are located at the bathouses. Additional toilet facilities can be found in the Wasted Lands. 

ELECTRICITY 
There is a free charging station on The Highlands and all accommodations on The Sanctuary have a power outlet. These charging points are intended to charge small devices, such as your phone or power bank.It is not intended for high power appliances, such as kettles, deep fryers or air fryers. 

PHONE CHARGING 
You can rent a charging device for your mobile phone at the charging stands at The Wasted Lands and next to the GOLD at the festival area. You can also buy a charging device for your mobile phone at the merchandise stands. 
This year, VARTA is providing seating at the YELLOW, MAGENTA, and WASTED LANDS stands, where you can sit down and charge your phone for free at the same time. The stands can be recognized by the “Power for the Tribe by VARTA” branding. 
 
POWERBANKS 
You can buy 10.000mah Defqon.1 branded power banks from the merchandise stands or Camp Gear stores. You can also rent a power bank at the Camp Gear stores at The Wasted Lands. Please note: These power banks don’t come with a charging cable, please bring your own or buy these at the merchandise stands. If you wish to rent a power bank, please note that a deposit is required and returns can only be made using your own bracelet to receive the refund. 
If you rent a power bank, you have until Monday 12:00 CEST to give back the power bank at the camp stores on the campsite and get back your deposit. Please note: Returns can only be made using your own bracelet to receive the refund.

FIRST AID 
There are four First Aid stations available. The first one is located near campsite 1, the second one is located near the bus entrance, the third is on campsite 5 and the fourth next to the RED stage. The First Aid at campsites 1, 5 and near the bus entrance are 24/7 available for camping visitors. You can ask security for help as well. The First Aid next to the RED stage and next to the bus entrance are open for day and weekend visitors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the festival opening hours. 
Please note, the First Aid team is your friend, no judgement, no consequences. 

FOOD AND DRINKS ON THE CAMPSITE  
No need to bring your own food, we’ve got you covered. There’ll be two fully stocked supermarkets on The Wasted Lands North and South. From cold drinks and breakfast items to toiletries and essentials you may have forgotten.You’re allowed to bring food and drinks when you enter the campsite for the first time. However, there’s a limit to the number of beverages; a maximum of 4,5 liters per person for soft drinks and drinks that contain a maximum of 14,9% alcohol. It is not necessary for the food and drinks to be sealed. Strong liquors, dry ice and bottles made out of glass are prohibited. It is allowed to bring supplements such as whey protein, creatine and sport supplements (also with caffeine, please use in a responsible manner). Bringing your food and drinks from the campsite to the festival isn’t allowed, even if purchased at one of our bars or the supermarket.

LEAVING THE CAMPING GROUNDS? 
You are allowed to leave and return to the Defqon.1 Camping Grounds as often as you’d like. You and your belongings will be checked by entrance security each time you enter the campsite. Please note that you can only bring your food and drinks of to the Camping Grounds the first time you enter the camping. When you leave the Camping Grounds and get back, it is not possible to bring new drinks and food to your campsite. 
When leaving the Camping Grounds, please make sure to follow the signs ‘exit’ and use the exit. Please check out with your legendary bracelet, otherwise re-entering will not be possible. 

STAY UNTIL MONDAY? 
Going by car and staying for the weekend? We recommend you stay until Monday for the following reasons: 
Avoid getting stuck in traffic on Sunday evening. 
After 3 or 4 days of raving at Defqon.1, it's best to have a good night's sleep before you drive home. Please don't take any risks. 
Every night at the Camping Grounds is a gift. Relax at The Wasted Lands with your tribe at the campfire during this final night before you leave for another year. Trust us, it's worth it. 

PASSPORT/ID 
The minimum age for visiting Defqon.1 is 18 years. There will be strict age and identity checks at the entrance, so be sure you bring your ID-card, EU drivers license or passport. A copy of your ID is not valid. You also cannot enter the festival or campsite if you are with someone who is 18+. 
Items (allowed/prohibited) 
BBQ AND GAS CYLINDERS 
All forms of gas cylinders, fuel (gasoline, diesel, etc.), generator batteries, or dry ice/fuel are not allowed on the Defqon.1 Campsites. Be aware that this has changed compared to previous years. This decision has been made on behalf of local government services. Small disposable BBQs (30x40cm) are still allowed (BBQ on coal or on small batteries like AA or AAA). There are no charging stations available for electric BBQ’s or electric kettles. 
CIGARETTES 
You can bring your own cigarettes or vapes. Smoking is only allowed in the open-air areas, not in tents. There’s no possibility to buy cigarettes or vapes on the camping grounds or festival grounds.  
BAGS 
If you travel with your own means of transportation, you can bring as many bags as you like. We do not have a maximum size for the bags on the Camping Grounds. If you’re traveling by bus or other forms of group transportation, please check the maximum baggage allowance. If you're attending for only one day, you can only bring 1 backpack to the festival grounds. 
SPEAKERS 
Only small speakers with a maximum output of 25 watts are allowed on the campgrounds. Please be considerate of your fellow campers, respect each other and keep the volume down. From 02:00 to 09:00, we kindly ask everyone to keep the campsite quiet so all warriors can rest properly. There will be increased surveillance compared to previous editions. If you exceed the guidelines, your speaker may be confiscated. 
POWERBANKS 
You can buy powerbanks at the  festival grounds to keep your phone charged throughout the day or weekend. In addition, VARTA is bringing Power for the Tribe through designated charging points located in Wasted Lands, Magenta, and Yellow.  
At the camping grounds, you can rent or buy power banks to keep your phone charged.  
Please note, you can’t bring solar panels and large battery packs to Defqon.1. 
DEODORANT AND PERFUME 
It's allowed to take spray deodorant and perfume bottles with you to the campsite. Because of safety reasons, you cannot take this with you to the festival grounds. Rollers or sticks are allowed. 
DRUGS 
The drugs policy at Defqon.1 is zero-tolerance. This means that all types of drugs are prohibited. This also includes weed and hash. If drugs are found, you will be handed over to the police. 
MEDICATION 
You are allowed to bring medication with you, but only the maximum daily amount. The packaging has to be closed. Security might ask you for a doctor’s recipe. Therefore, it is obligatory to have your doctor’s recipe with you. 
It is possible to leave your medication cooled at first aid. Tell the security guards about your medication and bring it directly to first aid.     
EARPLUGS 
During Defqon.1 earplugs will be available at all of the Merchandise stands. With music above 87 dB it is highly recommended to use earplugs with a special music filter. With these earplugs you can still hear the music perfectly, conversations remain intelligible and most important of all, you prevent damage to your ears and the annoying ring after the event. The organisation recommends using earplugs or occasionally visiting some of the quiet areas to give your ears some rest. The organisation is not liable for any negative consequences that may occur. 
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDING  
You’re allowed to bring a digital photo or video camera to the Defqon.1 Festival. All types of cameras are allowed. It doesn't matter how big or professional they are. 
Do you want to upload a video on YouTube? Keep in mind that the music on your video may be claimed by an organisation. The organisation has the right to block your video. 
It is not allowed to bring a drone with you to Defqon.1. It is not allowed to fly over the public or near the public. It’s allowed to bring a selfie stick but only with a maximum size of 1 meter. During the show, we will have lots of 4K cameras running to record the shows. We advise you not to film but to enjoy the show! We will make an amazing edit for you to never forget!

CELEBRATE SAFE 
During Defqon.1 we celebrate safely. If you have any questions about the use of alcohol or other drugs, you're welcome for a chat at the Celebrate Safe stand supported by Unity. Unity is an open-minded harm reduction project active in the Dutch party scene. Their volunteers are to be found near The Monumenton the festival grounds. On Thursday from 16:30 till 22:00, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 till 22:00 and Sunday from 11:00 till 22:00. When you or a friend is not feeling well, please go to the First Aid.  If you’d like to view the map, head over to the Defqon.1 app. 
TAKE CARE OF THE TRIBE 
At Defqon.1, we celebrate like Warriors. This doesn't mean we have to go all out; it means picking our battles. As we are about to face 4 days of power, we recommend reading this carefully to understand what it means for you as a member of our Tribe. 
When there is so much happening, a few basic reminders can make a huge difference: 
Come to Defqon.1 prepared and well-rested. 
Party responsibly; don’t overdo things. 
Make sure to get your day-to-day nutrients. 
Hydrate like a champ. 
Don’t be afraid to kick back and relax. Also, try to get enough sleep every day. 
Be vigilant about what happens around you. We’re all part of the same tribe, so reach out to your fellow Warriors if you feel they’re in need. Be the big brother or sister that anyone could use. Even if that means turning down the volume of your boombox so your neighbors can sleep. Remember, we’re in this together. 
SHORTCUT RED STAGE 
Cut off the route to the exit! From the RED you can go to the left past the PURPLE stage. This shortcut is also displayed on the terrain. For the Friday, Saturday and Sunday day visitors we recommend the shortcut to take the fastest way to the exit. The camping visitors can walk straight from the RED towards the afterparty. 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE TO THE RED STAGE 
If you are walking from the BLUE stage to the RED stage you can go past the UV and go to the left. You will skip the crowd on a bypass route and enter the RED stage on the left side. We also recommend using this route during the egress of POWER HOUR and all three Endshows. It's a 2 minute longer walk, but less crowded. 
WEATHER 
The Dutch weather can be unpredictable, so make sure you’re prepared for all types of weather: 
 
Bring the right clothing with you, for day-, and nighttime. 
Bring a poncho or rain jacket in case of rain. 
Bring sunscreen. You can bring sunscreen in a new, sealed package. Sunscreen is also available at the festival stores. 
Stay hydrated! Drink enough water during the day. 
Keep eating, we recommend salty food when it is hot. 
Take your time: relax at one of our chill areas. 
Avoid spending too much time in the sun. 
Watch out with alcohol or drugs, especially with high temperatures. 
Last but not least, don’t forget your craziest Sunday Funday outfit! 
 
 
 
FIRST AID 
There are four First Aid stations available. The first one is located near campsite 1, the second one is located near the bus entrance, the third is on campsite 5 and the fourth next to the RED stage. The First Aid at campsites 1, 5 and near the bus entrance are 24/7 available for camping visitors. You can ask security for help as well. The First Aid next to the RED stage and next to the bus entrance are open for day and weekend visitors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the festival opening hours.  
Please note, the First Aid team is your friend, no judgement, no consequences. 
LOST AND FOUND 
If you have found something that doesn’t belong to you, please bring it to the nearest info stand. There are three info stands. You can find the three different info stands on The Wasted Lands, campsite 5 and at the festival grounds. After the festival, all found items are settled by iLost. When you arrive home and you realize that you lost something, go to iLost.nl and search for your lost item. If you find your lost item on the website, you can contact iLost and they will be of further assistance. You can find the items on the website the weekend after the festival. 

SECURITY 
Security checks will be carried out at the entrance and security will walk around during the whole weekend. Bags and personal belongings may be inspected upon entry, also when entering the festivalgrounds from the camping.  
Please always follow instructions from security staff. Refusing a security check or not complying with instructions may result in denied entry or removal from the festival.  
For safety reasons, prohibited items will be confiscated.  
SAFETY ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS 
To ensure a safe environment for everyone, please follow these (crowd safety) guidelines.  
Follow all signage and instructions, from crew and security staff 
Do not climb on structures, fences, speakers, or other installations 
Avoid pushing, crowd surfing, or aggressive behaviour 
Be mindful to others, especially in crowded areas 
In case of an emergency, remain calm and follow staff instructions 
If an area becomes too crowded, please move to a less busy location 
Respect other visitors, staff, and performers 
Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated 
Respect the environment and use designated waste and recycling systems 
STAFF ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS 
There are plenty of crew members and security staff present throughout the festival grounds and camping areas. If you need assistance at any time, do not hesitate to approach them, they are there to help you. If something doesn’t feel right, always reach out.  
CAMPING GUARDIANS 
Like last year, we have Camping Guardians available at the campsite. A Camping Guardian is someone you can talk to if you are not feeling well mentally, not feeling safe, or just want to chill and relax for a moment, but not want to be alone. You can find the Camping Guardians at the tipis at the campsite, near the bathhouses. 
They will be there the whole weekend, 24/7.  
Not feeling well physically? Go to the First Aid stand at campsite 1, near campsite 4 / bus entrance or campsite 5. If you’d like to view the map, head over to the Defqon.1 app. 
STIMULUS-FREE ZONES AND SHADE PLACES 
We have chill out spots and the Camping Guardian tipis near the bathhouses at the camping, where we provide you with the option to talk to a Camping Guardian, if you are not feeling well mentally or not feeling safe. Also we have more shade places spread out over the Festival Grounds this year.

PARKING FOR VISITORS WITH DISABILITIES 
Visitors in possession of a valid Parking Card for People with Disabilities (also known as the European Disability Parking Card or, in Dutch: Gehandicaptenparkeerkaart / GPK) may request access to the designated accessible parking spaces at the event. 
 
To do so, please send an email in advance with your request to travel@q-dance.com. In your email, please include a photo of your valid blue disability parking card (GPK) and the type of entry ticket you purchased. 
 
We will review your application and provide further information regarding the procedure and confirmation. Requests must be submitted no later than June 10, 2026. 
Please note: This facility is only available to holders of the official blue European Disability Parking Card (GPK). If you do not have this card, it is unfortunately not possible to park in these spaces, and any submitted requests will not be processed. The official blue European Disability Parking Card (GPK) will be verified on-site. Any misuse of the card will be reported. 
 
ENTERING THE FESTIVAL 
 
All entrances feature one-meter-wide gates for easy access. Extra-wide gates are clearly marked and available across the different entrance areas. 
 
FESTIVAL GROUNDS 
 
Accessible toilets are available at every toilet area across the festival grounds. The premium decks can be accessed via a ramp or lift; however, a Premium Ticket is required for entry. 
 
WHEELCHAIR RENTAL 
 
We do not offer wheelchair rentals at Defqon.1, so please bring your own if needed. 
 
CAMPING GROUNDS 
 
Planning to stay with us at the campsite? That is possible! 
Would you like to stay in a pre-set-up tent at The Highlands or The Sanctuary? Please contact travel@q-dance.com with your request and the type of accommodation you would like to book or have already booked. We will do our best to help you find a suitable solution.

RECYCLE SYSTEM 
You will receive one recycle token when you arrive. Hand in this token when you buy your first drink. You will get a cup, can, tetra packaging or bottle for free with your drink. Don’t throw away your cup, bottle or can. You can hand in your cup, bottle or can at the bar or at one of the recycling points on the festivals grounds (at the camping grounds it is a donation). Lost the cup, bottle or can? You pay €2,00  extra with your next drink for a new cup, bottle or can. Please remind each other that it is everyone's own responsibility to keep the Festival Grounds clean. 
Make sure to keep your recycle token after Defqon.1 2026. All visitors have the chance to win unique prizes with our Recycle Token Raffle. More info about this will be available later. 
DEPOSIT RETURN POINTS  
Upon arrival at the campsite, you will receive waste bags that can be used to collect empty cans and bottles for donation to Mentale Wasstraat. 

By taking part, you not only help keep the festival grounds clean and support recycling efforts, but also contribute to a meaningful cause focused on mental health awareness among young people. Mentale Wasstraat is committed to creating space for open conversations, awareness, and support around mental wellbeing.

Opening hours and locations 

These stands are labeled as M1 to M6, which is also indicated on the map with a T-shirt logo and the number of the stand. While the festival stands are spread out across the terrain, M1 offers the complete Defqon.1 collection. The smaller stands have just a selection of items. When can I pick up my click and collect order? 

Once you’ve received your order confirmation, you can pick-up your order at the main merchandise stand during the opening hours. Please bring the PDF generated via the link in the email with the subject “Your Defqon.1 Merchandise Pick-Up Link” when collecting your order. 

What if I don’t pick up my merchandise order? 

All orders can be picked up until 21:00 CET on Sunday at the big Merchandise stand (M1).  

Can someone else pick up my merchandise order? 

No. Only the person mentioned on the order details can pick up the order by showing their order confirmation email. 

Can I fit the products at the event? 

There are no changing rooms, but items can be fitted and exchanged at the stand. 

Which payment method do you accept at the Defqon.1 merchandise stands? 

We accept cash (only at the Main Merchandise stand), all card payments and payments with your bracelet. 

My item doesn't fit or is faulty, how do I return an item? 

You can return your merchandise order at the service counter at the main merchandise stand at Defqon.1. Returns are only accepted at Defqon.1 until 20:00 CEST on Sunday. Please be aware that purchases made at Defqon.1 can only be returned on-site. Click & Collect items can be returned after the festival as long as they comply to the legal online shop conditions which can be found in the merchandise shop.  

I want to change my current online order to a Click & Collect order. Is this possible? 

Unfortunately, no. After your order has been shipped, we cannot change the shipping method. Please review your order carefully before placing it. 

A large part of the festival information is available through our digital channels. We strongly recommend using the official Defqon.1 app to stay up to date before and during the festival.

The Festival Mode in the Defqon.1 app is your ultimate festival companion before, during and after Defqon.1. It has everything you need to make your Defqon.1 experience unforgettable, including the interactive festival map and timetable as well as being your portal to The Path. The Festival Mode is already available, with more features coming up on the days leading to Defqon.1, so make sure you keep your app up to date!  

Want to make your Defqon.1 journey even more powerful? Or just to recharge yourself for the next part? Select the Experiences tab to browse through all the additional options you have to personalize your journey even further. 

The Map tab will contain icons spread throughout the map showing the most important facilities. An interactive timetable mode which shows the acts that are playing at a stage when you press on a stage. As always, some stages will change locations on different festival days. This is why we’ve added the option to browse through the different day maps. 

The Defqon.1 app also has an interactive timetable, showing you what’s playing where and when. If you’re logged in to your Q-dance account (DEDIQATED or non-DEDIQATED members), you can select your favourite artists by tapping the little heart. Just select ‘your favourites’ view to create your own personal timetable. Press the bell icon to select which of your favourites you want us to remind you of 20 minutes before they start.
