Parking for visitors with disabilities

Visitors in possession of a valid Parking Card for People with Disabilities (also known as the European Disability Parking Card or, in Dutch: Gehandicaptenparkeerkaart / GPK) may request access to the designated accessible parking spaces at the event.

To do so, please send an email in advance with your request to travel@q-dance.com. In your email, please include a photo of your valid blue disability parking card (GPK) and the type of entry ticket you purchased.

We will review your application and provide further information regarding the procedure and confirmation. Requests must be submitted no later than May 15, 2026.

Please note: This facility is only available to holders of the official blue European Disability Parking Card (GPK). If you do not have this card, it is unfortunately not possible to park in these spaces, and any submitted requests will not be processed. The official blue European Disability Parking Card (GPK) will be verified on-site. Any misuse of the card will be reported.

Entering the festival

All entrances feature one-meter-wide gates for easy access. Extra-wide gates are clearly marked and available across the different entrance areas.

Festival grounds

Accessible toilets are available at every toilet area across the festival site. The premium decks can be accessed via a ramp or lift; however, a Premium Ticket is required for entry.

Wheelchair rental

We do not offer wheelchair rentals at Defqon.1, so please bring your own if needed.

The minimum age for visiting Defqon.1 is 18 years. There will be strict age and identity checks at the entrance, make sure you bring your ID (drivers license, ID, passport).  

A copy of your ID is not valid.

The drugs policy at Defqon.1 is zero-tolerance. This means that all types of drugs are prohibited. This also includes weed and hash. If drugs are found, you will be handed over to the police.

By Dutch law, smoking or vaping is not allowed inside tents or under any covered area at the festival and is only permitted in open-air spaces. Show your Warrior Spirit by keeping the Holy Grounds clean and respectful as One Tribe. Cigarettes and vapes are not sold anywhere on the festival grounds.

The Exclusive RED Experience is a premium Defqon.1 experience that gives you access to the best spot available on the Holy Grounds, located right in front of the mighty RED Mainstage. During the DEDIQATED Sale, you can purchase up to 4 tickets per order, and up to 9 tickets per order during the General Sale.

An exception to the above is when you buy tickets in combination with a Travel & Stay Package. The maximum number of tickets you can buy with a Travel & Stay Package is the maximum number of occupants of your purchased accommodation. For example, if you book a 20-person Friends Camp, you can also order 20 tickets.

A new change this year is that Premium Tickets are only available for Weekend Visitors. If you’d still like to upgrade your Defqon.1 single day ticket, you can choose the Exclusive RED Experience. Because this is an upgrade, you’ll be able to add it to your ordered day ticket. You can read more about the Exclusive RED Experience below.

With a Defqon.1 Weekend Ticket, you'll get access to all 4 sacred days, allowing you to explore both the Holy Grounds and the Camping Grounds to the fullest. A Weekend Ticket always includes access to the Camping Grounds, including The Wasted Lands. All you need to do is bring your own tent, or you can always upgrade your stay with one of the Travel & Stay Packages. Summarized, a Weekend Ticket includes:

You can change the name on your ticket in just a few clicks.

Here’s how:

1. Go to your tickets in your account.
2. Find the ticket with the wrong name.
3. Click Unclaim.

Your ticket is now depersonalized. From here, you can either:

• Reclaim the ticket with the correct name yourself (main buyers only).
• Invite someone else via the invite link to put the ticket in their name. Note: This is usually done by the main buyer. If person A can no longer attend, the main buyer typically resends the invite link to person B. Invited ticket holders will only see their own ticket.

Good to know:

• Personalize your tickets before May 1st to have your bracelets sent to your home.
• If you personalize or change a name after May 1st, you’ll receive instructions on how to collect your bracelet(s).
• You can change the name on your ticket up until the week of Defqon.1.
• If the name is still incorrect after clicking Claim, your account may have the wrong name. Update it in your account settings (click your account in the top right → Settings), then repeat the steps above.
• Only main buyers have access to all tickets in their account. They can personalize the first ticket themselves and share the invite link for other ticket holders
• The link for main buyers is the one shared in the personalization email. For all other ticket holders, unique links will be provided to personalize or depersonalize their tickets, which can also be shared by the main buyer.

It is possible to change the name on your ticket up to the week of Defqon.1.

Only festival tickets can be resold only through our official resale platform. Travel products such as accommodation, transport, travel packages or any non-ticket items cannot be listed for resale.

Only the main buyer of the ticket (the person whose name and email were used to purchase the ticket originally) can start the resale process. Other ticket holders linked to the order cannot list tickets independently.

When you access your order from your personalisation email through the MyOrder link you can then click “Sell Ticket(S”.You will see a list of all the tickets that are still eligible for resale. If a ticket has already been used or sold, it will also not appear in this overview.

To resell a ticket, open your order using the link from your personalisation email and click “Sell Ticket(s)” This brings you into the resale platform where you see which tickets in your order are available to sell. You are not able to use a PDF of your ticket to resell your ticket. Tickets cannot be uploaded into the resale platform. Resale is only possible through your MyOrder overview.

You start by selecting the ticket you want to resell. Then you choose whether you want to make a public sale or a private sale. 

After choosing the sale type, you will see a summary of the resale details. You should review this carefully, because it shows what the buyer will pay, how fees are applied, and what amount you will receive once the ticket is sold. When you confirm these details, your ticket is listed for resale on the platform.

When reselling your ticket, you can choose between a public sale and a private sale.

With a public sale, your selected tickets become visible on the official resale platform and can be purchased by any visitor. If you list multiple tickets, they can be purchased separately. This means different buyers can purchase individual tickets from your listing.

With a private sale, your tickets are only available through a unique link. This link is generated during the resale process and can be shared directly with a specific person. In a private sale, the buyer purchases all tickets included in that private listing. The tickets cannot be sold separately to different buyers. If you want to sell your tickets in private sale separately, you will need to create separate private sales.

Both options follow the same pricing rules and secure transfer process. The main difference is who can access the tickets and whether they can be sold individually or only as a complete set.

Resale pricing is always based on the original ticket price that was paid when the ticket was first purchased. The resale platform does not allow sellers to change this price. This ensures that tickets are resold at a fair market value and avoids inflated or arbitrary pricing.

During the resale process, you will be shown:

• The final price the buyer will pay
• Any service or processing fees
• The net amount you will receive after fees

This summary lets you check all financial details before confirming the resale.

When your ticket is successfully sold, the system automatically makes the original ticket invalid. At the same time, a new, valid ticket is created for the buyer. This ensures that only the buyer can enter the event and that no ticket can be used more than once.

Because this is done automatically within the platform, you do not need to exchange tickets manually or resend files. Everything is handled by the system so the transition from seller to buyer is smooth and secure.

Once a ticket has been sold through the resale platform, the refund for your original ticket is processed back to the original payment method you used when buying the ticket. This can not be changed.

This can take a few working days to show on your account or on your bank statement. The exact timing can depend on your payment provider or bank, which may take additional time to complete the transfer.

Yes. As long as your ticket has not yet been sold, you can cancel your listing from your resale overview. If you would like to make changes, you will first need to cancel your listing and then create a new resale listing. You can also stop the sale so the ticket stays with you.

Once a sale has been completed and the ticket has been purchased by a buyer, you cannot cancel or reverse the resale.

When someone selects your ticket and starts the purchase process, the system temporarily holds that ticket for them. A countdown timer is displayed in the top right of you screen showing how long you have left to finish the payment.
If the buyer does not complete payment before the timer runs out, the ticket is returned to the resale pool and becomes available again for others to buy.

Because the resale platform automatically issues a new valid ticket to the buyer and invalidates your original one, the risk of issues is very low. However, if a buyer feels there is an issue with a resale ticket, they can reach out to our customer support team for help and clarification. Each situation is reviewed on a case-by-case basis with the goal of resolving it quickly.

If you missed out on your preferred tickets for Defqon.1 2026, we’ve got you covered. With certain tickets already sold out, and several Travel & Stay options gone as well, we’ve now opened the Waiting List.

The Waiting List gives you the opportunity to get access to sold-out tickets for Defqon.1 2026. Due to the legendary bracelet shipping process, tickets for Defqon.1 2026 can only be purchased through the official Waiting List.

No, the Waiting List doesn’t guarantee you tickets. You can submit to the Waiting List for free, but be aware that it doesn't guarantee you tickets.

No. You can subscribe to the Waiting List for free. You will receive an email if the tickets of your preference will become available again.

Yes. You will receive a confirmation email after you submit yourself to the Waiting List. Please also check your spam inbox, the email could end up in there.

The Legendary Bracelet is provided to everyone who holds a Defqon.1 ticket. It serves as both your entrance ticket and payment method during the event. In the months leading up to Defqon.1, additional features related to the Legendary Bracelet will become available. More information about this will be announced later.

Yes, everyone in possession of a Defqon.1 Ticket will receive the Legendary Bracelet, both day visitors and weekend visitors. Only the main booker will receive all bracelets. Be aware of the fact the main booker is responsible for distributing the bracelets to their fellow Warriors.

To receive your bracelet(s) at home, personalize your tickets before May 1st. Once all tickets in your order have been personalized, the main buyer will receive an address validation email to confirm the shipping address. After confirmation, a tracking link will be sent by email as soon as the bracelets are shipped.

Make sure to personalize your tickets and complete your address form as soon as possible to ensure timely delivery.

Please note that bracelets cannot be shipped to certain countries; in these cases, we will arrange a suitable alternative.

The Legendary Defqon.1 Bracelet grants access, allows for payments, and adds value to the member and visitor experience. Essentially, it’s your personal key to Defqon.1.

Yes, you can top up your bracelet with cash at the staffed top-up desks. 

You will be able to top up your bracelet through your Q-dance account, the Defqon.1 app, or on the Festival Grounds. More details about using your Legendary Defqon.1 Bracelet will be provided closer to the event.

The bracelet has an embedded chip linked to your account, allowing you to make payments just like with other digital payment methods. To pay, simply scan your bracelet at the counter.

Further instructions on how to activate and use your bracelet will be provided later.

No, tickets are not included by default and must be selected to be added to the order. You can select your tickets in the official ticket step at the beginning of your order, or you can add the tickets to your package on the Travel & Stay accommodation page. 

A hotel package is the best option if you want to attend Defqon.1 for one or multiple days but don’t want to stay the whole weekend. All Camping accommodations and cottages can only be booked for the entire weekend, from Thursday until Monday.

It is possible to add someone to your booking if your accommodation is not yet at maximum capacity and there are still Defqon.1 Weekend Festival tickets available. You can email travel@q-dance.com with your order number and request. Please note that an administration fee of €32,50 applies per adjustment of your booking.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel your booking and receive a refund after the given reflection period by Dutch Consumer Law. You can contact travel@q-dance.com to request more information.

You cannot resell your Travel & Stay Package via Ticketswap or other resale platforms. However, we can change the name on your order (an administration fee of €32,50 applies for a name change). Please send your request, with the information of the new mainbooker of the package to travel@q-dance.com. Adjustments can be requested until May 15th, 2026. 

The package price is based on the accommodation with full occupancy and the cheapest room options.  

A surcharge can appear in a few scenarios. For example, with a hotel reservation, if you selected a different room option, like a luxury room instead of the standard one, a surcharge would apply as the luxury room is more expensive. 

Another possibility is if the number of people does not match the accommodation’s capacity. For instance, if you book a 4-person accommodation but only have 3 guests, a surcharge will be added for not filling the entire accommodation.

Several rental accommodations require a deposit, which you will receive back after Defqon.1 if the accommodation is left in good condition. Each deposit amount is mentioned on the webpage of the accommodation. The deposit needs to be paid prior to Defqon.1 and online. You will receive an email 3 weeks prior to Defqon.1 with further instructions.

Please note that the deposit is not included in the package price.

The exclusive Sanctuary Campground lives up to its name, offering a luxurious and private retreat for Weekend Warriors at Defqon.1. This exclusive area is designed for ultimate comfort, featuring spacious accommodations, separate sanitary facilities, a food area, a chill zone, free Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour service desk. 

Each accommodation at the Sanctuary Campground comes with electricity, so you never have to worry about running out of power. The Sanctuary is the perfect place to make the most out of your Defqon.1 journey.

The Defqon.1 Tent and the Defqon.1 Pyramid (located in the Highlands) are all yours to take home after Defqon.1. Other tents are rental products and cannot be taken home.

The Friends Camp at Defqon.1 is the perfect way to share the ultimate festival experience with your friends. Enjoy a pre-reserved piece of land, exclusively for you and your fellow Warriors, where you can set up your own tents or choose to purchase the Defqon.1 Tent and/or Sleeping Package for added convenience. 

There are three types of Friends Camps, each offering unique perks: 

• Friends Camp Regular: A pre-reserved camping area where you can create your own setup.
• Friends Camp Comfort: Includes a picnic table (one per eight people) for additional convenience.
• Friends Camp Deluxe: Comes with picnic table(s) and a rental shelter, adding both comfort and style to your camping experience.

No, tickets are not included by default and must be selected to be added to the order. You can select your tickets in the official ticket step at the beginning of your order, or you can add the tickets to your package in the Travel & Stay Friends Camp page. 

No, tickets can be purchased separately. You don’t need to buy them all together as part of the package, although that option is available if you prefer.

Please note that a Friends Camp spot does not guarantee a Defqon.1 weekend ticket. If you’ve booked a Friends Camp for you and your friends but haven’t purchased your weekend tickets yet, they may sell out in the meantime. In that case, we unfortunately cannot guarantee availability for Defqon.1 weekend tickets.

No, a Friends Camp package does not include camping gear. You can set up your own tents or choose for the Defqon.1 Pick-up Tent and/or Sleeping Package for 2 persons as an extra item, so you don't have to bring your own gear. 

A Friends Camp can be booked online for 10 to 50 people. For groups of more than 50 people, contact us at travel@q-dance.com to see what options are available.

If there are available spots left for the Friends Camps; you can request to add someone to your Friends Camp booking. Please have the main booker send an email with their request to travel@q-dance.com. Please note, there is no guarantee. When the Friends Camps are sold out, we can no longer add anyone to your existing Friends Camp order, as we then are at maximum capacity.

On Thursday and Friday, Amsterdam transfers from Central Station (CS), Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Utrecht Central Station (CS) and Eindhoven Central Station (CS) will be available. These transfers are set for Thursday or Friday and will go back on Monday. The departure days and times are set in advance and cannot be changed. The schedule is as follows:

Holiday Park and hotel packages include a transfer or shuttle service to and from Defqon.1, during the weekend.

Holiday Park
Each park package includes a daily shuttle bus to and from Defqon.1 during the weekend. The shuttle will continuously operate every hour until 02:00 CEST.  

Hotel
Each hotel package includes a 2-way transfer service to and from Defqon.1 on Saturday when the Saturday night is booked for your stay. Other days can be purchased separately during the booking process.  

Please note that hotel transfers operate once per day at fixed times. The exact departure time will be announced approximately 2 weeks before Defqon.1 2026.

It is not possible to change the day or time of the transfer you have chosen with your initial purchase.
