What is the legendary Bracelet?

The Legendary Bracelet is provided to everyone in possession of a Defqon.1 Ticket. It serves as an entrance ticket and as a payment method during the event, and you are able to transfer money via the Defqon.1 app or on-site at the self-service station or at one of the top-up desks with staff. Premium ticket holders can use the bracelet to enter the Premium Decks.

Who will receive a Legendary Bracelet?

Everyone in possession of a Defqon.1 Ticket will receive the Legendary Bracelet, both day visitors and weekend visitors. Only the main booker will receive all bracelets. Be aware of the fact the main booker is responsible for distributing the bracelets to their fellow Warriors.

Can I already wear my Bracelet?

We recommend not to wear the bracelet before Defqon.1. We understand you might be excited to put it on, but wearing it too early can increase the risk of damaging the RFID chip. To avoid any issues, keep it safe and dry until the event begins.

Do I still need to bring a ticket if I have a bracelet?

Your activated bracelet is your entrance. It’s all you need to enter Defqon.1. However, make sure you still have access to your valid e-ticket, as it may be required in case of any issues with your bracelet.

What do I need to enter Defqon.1?

You will need the following:

  • An activated bracelet
  • A valid ID or passport.

Your bracelet must be scanned upon entry.

What happens to my bracelet after the event?

You can keep your bracelet as a souvenir of your Defqon.1 journey.

How do you handle my data?

We are strongly dedicated to securing your data. Any use of the chip such as charging or buying a drink is recorded. This data is not passed on to third parties and Q-dance adheres to the applicable data protection rules.

I haven’t received the address confirmation/personalization form (and I heard my friends / others have), what now?

The address validation form are only being send out to the main booker. This will happen once all tickets in the order have been personalized. Please confirm if this is the case. If this is the case and you have not received the address form please send us an e-mail on bracelet@q-dance.com

In case you may not be able to complete the address validation in time before the end of May, you can pickup the bracelets for your order at any entrance by visiting our support team at the Bracelet Pick-up Point. 

Can I shower with my bracelet?

We advise not to shower with your bracelet or expose it to water and liquids. 

Shipping & Delivery

When will I receive my Legendary Defqon.1 Bracelet?

If all tickets in the order have been personalized, the main buyer has received an address validation email to confirm the shipping address. 

All confirmed shipping addresses will receive a tracking link by email as soon as the order is shipped. Shipping will start end of May. 

Note that personalization and completing the shipping address validation has to be done before the 1st of June. If this has not been done on time, you can pickup all Legendary Bracelets at the entry of Defqon.1 at any Bracelet Pickup Points. 

I did not receive all my bracelets, now what?

If you did not receive all bracelets from the same order, we are unfortunately not able to resend a replacement. But no worries, the person who’s bracelet is missing from the package can visit any Bracelet Information Point at the entrance of the festival to receive help getting a replacement. 

If this question relates to different orders, the other orders may still in the process being packed and shipped. We do not merge the packing process for each person so all orders are handled at random individually. 

As we will be shipping bracelets for the coming weeks, please await the shipping confirmation email for each order. 

I ordered more bracelets for my friends as well but only received my own

DHL (the delivery service) is saying my package was delivered but I did not receive anything

It sometimes may take a little longer for them to actually deliver the package. If the package turns out not to be delivered, we cannot ship another one your way but we can help you get a replacement bracelet at any Bracelet Pickup Points at the entrances of the festival.

To which countries can you ship the Bracelets?

We ship to the following countries:

Austria (AT), Belgium (BE), Croatia (HR), Czech Republic (CZ), Denmark (DK), Estonia (EE), Finland (FI), France (FR), Germany (DE), Greece (GR), Hungary (HU), Ireland (IE), Italy (IT), Latvia (LV), Luxembourg (LU), Netherlands (NL), Norway (NO), Poland (PL), Portugal (PT), Spain (ES), Sweden (SE), Switzerland (CH), United Kingdom (GB).

If all tickets have been personalized, the main buyer confirmed the address before June 1st, and your country is within our shipping region, your bracelets are currently being shipped.

What should I do if you don't ship to my country?

It is important to personalize your ticket before Defqon.1. You can pick up your Bracelet at the Bracelet Pickup point can be found at the entry by showing your e-ticket and ID. 

I have not received my Bracelet, what now?

Only the main booker of the order will receive the Legendary Bracelets linked to the order. Once the bracelets are shipped, they will receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. 

In case you do not receive the shipment of your bracelets on time, don’t worry. Please visit the Bracelet Pickup Point for assistance. We will make sure everyone will receive a bracelet at the entrance at Defqon.1.

How do we divide the bracelets, if our group travels from different countries?

Access to Defqon.1 is only possible with a bracelet. All bracelets will be shipped to the main booker, it’s important to make clear arrangements within your group on how to distribute before Defqon.1.

If all tickets have been personalized, the main buyer confirmed the address before June 1st, and your country is within our shipping region, your bracelets are currently being shipped.

Please note: It is important that the correct bracelets are distributed by the correct people. You can find your name at the bottom of the bracelet box. When activating your bracelet, make sure to activate only your own.

Activation & Entry

How do I activate my Legendary bracelet?

First, make sure you have the correct bracelet as all bracelets are connected to your personal information. You can find your name at the bottom of the Bracelet box.  

To activate your Legendary Bracelet, scan the QR code on the inside of the box and follow the steps.

Please note: In case you have multiple day tickets, you’ll receive one Bracelet per day. Each must then be activated separately by the person using the bracelet, repeating the same steps as above.

Make sure to activate your bracelet in advance for a smooth entry. If it is not activated, you won’t be able to enter the festival.

What should I do if my Bracelet does not work at the entrance?

If your bracelet is not working, please visit the Bracelet Information Point at the entrance or any of the Information Point at the festival-site.

What if I forgot my bracelet?

Please visit one of the Bracelet Pickup Points at the entrance for support. 

Where at Defqon.1 can I pick up the bracelets?

You can pick up your bracelet at one of the Bracelet Pick-up Points. The counters can be found in front of the entrances, which can also be located on the floor plan in the Defqon.1 app.

When I activate my bracelet I get an error. Now what?

Please logout of your Q-dance account and start the process again. This should be the solution. If it’s still not working, please send us a screenshot of the error so we can look into this.

How can I top-up my bracelet?

You can top-up your bracelet in the Defqon.1 app or by clicking the button below.

How can I check my balance?

You are able to check your balance in the Defqon.1 app 

How do I pay with my bracelet?

Make sure to top up your bracelet first in the Defqon.1 app. When ordering, simply scan your bracelet at the counter. 

Merchandise can still be purchased using cash or card.

Can I still pay with cash?

Yes, you can top up your bracelet with cash at the top-up desks with staff. Purchases can only be made with the bracelets during Defqon.1.

What are the exchange rates?

The exchange rate is calculated in Euros and depends on your payment provider.

How do I check my transaction history?

You can check your transaction history in the Defqon.1 app or by clicking the button below.

I have multiple day tickets. How should I top up my balance?

If you have multiple day tickets, you will receive a separate bracelet for each day. Each bracelet can be topped up individually. If you have any remaining balance on a bracelet from a previous day, you can still use it the next day to spend that balance. However, your entry to the festival must be done with the bracelet linked to that specific day.
 
To avoid interference between RFID chips, we recommend wearing only the bracelet for the day you’re attending.

Tickets & Resale

Can I sell my bracelet?

You can only sell your Festival entry ticket in combination with the bracelet, so you cannot sell them both separately. 

I purchased a ticket through the Resale platform, how do I get my Bracelet?

If you purchased a ticket through the Resale platform before May 1st, your bracelet will be shipped to you once you have personalized your ticket (do this before the end of May) and filled in your address information in the separate email you will receive after personalization.   

Can I sell my ticket?

Since May 1st, it is no longer possible to sell your ticket through the Resale platform.

Can I still buy a ticket from the Resale platform?

No, the Resale platform has been closed since May 1st due to the bracelet shipping process.

Lost, Damaged or Stolen

What should I do if my bracelet is lost, damaged, or stolen?

If your bracelet is lost, damaged, or stolen, please visit one of the Bracelet Information Points at the entrance or if you are a weekend ticketholder the info points at the campsites . Our team will assist you there. 
Make sure to bring the following: 

  • A valid ID or passport 

  • Your E-ticket

  • Extra: Photo of the back (including serial number and PIN code) of your bracelet

Can I block my bracelet if it’s lost or stolen?

Bracelets cannot be blocked by yourself. If your bracelet is lost or stolen, please go to one of the Information Points as soon as possible. Our team can assist you in blocking the bracelet and help you further.

Make sure to bring:

  • Your ID or passport
  • Your e-ticket
  • Extra: Photo of the back (including serial number and PIN code) of your bracelet

Please keep in mind that any balance spent before the bracelet is blocked unfortunately cannot be recovered. Make sure to keep your bracelet safe at all times, as it is your own responsibility.

Refunds

Is it possible to request a refund after the event?

Should you have any balance remaining after Defqon.1, we will refund it automatically.
Within three weeks of Defqon.1 you will receive your remaining balance as a refund. The refund will be credited to the account number we have on file. You do not have to do anything yourself.

Do you wanna receive the refund earlier? After Thursday 2nd of June, you are able to request a refund or do a donation. If you request a refund, the pay-out will be within 5 business days. 

For carrying out this automatic refund we charge an amount of two euros per bracelet. This amount will automatically be deducted from the remaining balance.

In case you used cash to top-up your bracelet and we have no record of your bank account, we will contact you by email after Defqon.1 to arrange a refund.

Can I receive my refund in cash?

You can only receive your refund by bank transaction.  

When can I expect my refund? 

We aim to process your refund request within 6 weeks.
