Travel & Stay Packages

Secured your Defqon.1 Travel & Stay package? Congratulations! The ultimate weekend experience is waiting for you. Haven’t secured your package yet? Most Travel & Stay weekend packages are sold out, but we do have some limited availability left. Ranging from hotel stays to the luxury of the Sanctuary Campground. What documents do I need to bring? 

For a smooth check-in process, at the Camping as well as the hotels, we kindly ask you to have the following documents ready: 

• Personalized entrance ticket (digital or printed)
• Accommodation voucher (digital or printed)
• Transfer voucher, if applicable (digital or printed)
• A valid ID card or passport

Please be aware that only the main booker of the package can check in to the booked accommodation. It is not possible anymore to make name changes to your booking after May 16, 2025.

 

Can I change my booking?

No, it is not possible anymore to change your reservation after May 16, 2025. 

 

Check in/check out at the accommodation

Only the main booker can check in at the accommodation with a valid accommodation voucher, ID card and entrance ticket. The accommodation voucher can be downloaded  from the Travel & Stay confirmation email. Unable to find your confirmation? Please send an email to travel@q-dance.com to request a new confirmation email. 

 

Check-in and check-out

It is possible to check in and check out at the campgrounds 24/7 from Thursday 12:00 – Sunday 23:59 CEST. Check in and check out times at the holiday parks and hotels vary per location and can be found in the information email sent out three weeks before Defqon.1. Unable to find this email? Please send an email to travel@q-dance.com to request this information. 

 

Deposit

Several accommodations for Defqon.1 2025 require a deposit. This deposit must be paid online and in advance. If the deposit applies to your booked accommodation, you will receive a deposit email from us, approximately 2 weeks before Defqon.1 2025. 

 

Please note, checking in is only possible if the deposit is paid in advance. It is not possible to pay the deposit in cash on site, so make sure your deposit is paid online.  

 

Information about the Highlands 

The Highlands is an exclusive area within our Holy Grounds, offering an elevated festival experience for true Warriors. It features exclusive perks like free shower facilities, a spacious chill area with free charging stations, and many more amenities designed to make your weekend more comfortable.

 

This area has a variety of pre-set accommodations, such as the iconic Defqon.1 Tent and the Defqon.1 Pyramid, which you can take home after the weekend. For those seeking extra comfort, options like The Pampus, The Boss, or the brand-new Cohen are perfect for you and your friends. Check out all available accommodations!

 

Please note that only guests with accommodation in the Highlands have access to this area.

Information about The Sanctuary

The exclusive Sanctuary Campground lives up to its name, offering a luxurious and private retreat for Weekend Warriors at Defqon.1. This exclusive area is designed for ultimate comfort, featuring spacious accommodations, separate sanitary facilities, a bar, a food area, a chill zone, Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour service desk.

 

Each accommodation at the Sanctuary Campground comes with electricity, so you never have to worry about running out of power. Plus, you’ll gain access to a Wellness area complete with hot tubs, massages, and a sauna, perfect for unwinding after an intense festival day. The Sanctuary is the perfect place to make the most out of your Defqon.1 dream.

Warrior Meal at The Sanctuary 

The Warrior Meal during the Gathering on Thursday is exclusively for the Sanctuary guests to start your Defqon.1 weekend with a shared dinner combined with live cooking and the perfect opportunity to meet your fellow warriors. 

The Warrior Meal takes place on Thursday 26 June from 14:30 – 17:30. You don’t need to make a time reservation for the Warrior Meal.

Drinks are NOT included and can be purchased separately at the bar. What is served during the Warrior Meal will remain a surprise. The Warrior Meal can be pre-ordered online and during check-in you will receive your voucher.

Please hold on to your voucher, no voucher = no Warrior Meal 

 

Breakfast at The Highlands & The Sanctuary

We offer a 3-day breakfast box, complete with the ingredients to start your day in a healthy way. The breakfast box can be picked up from Friday 27 June to Sunday 29 June between 08:00 and 11:00. Please note: on Monday there is no breakfast box available for pick-up, but several food vendors will be open on the Wasted Lands.

Coffee and tea are not included and can be purchased separately on location. At both The Highlands and The Sanctuary, we offer a regular and a vegetarian version of the breakfast box. You can select your preference during the booking process or in the add-on shop.

 

The 3-day breakfast box can be ordered online. You will receive your voucher(s) during check-in – make sure to keep them safe, as they are required for pick-up.

Defqon.1 Friends Camps
The Friends Camp is a reserved spot for you and your friends in a designated area. Check-in for your Friends camp is possible at the check-in desk, please follow the directions on the digital signs from the entrance. After check-in your Friends Camp can be recognized by the submitted name or by the name of the Main Booker of the package.

It is possible to check in at the Friends Camps on Thursday From 12:00 CEST

A Friends Camp at Defqon.1 is the perfect way to share the ultimate festival experience with your friends. Enjoy a pre-reserved piece of land, exclusively for you and your fellow Warriors, where you can set up your own tents or choose to purchase the Defqon.1 Tent and/or Sleeping Package for added convenience. This package does not include tents. 

There are three types of Friends Camps, each offering unique perks:

• Friends Camp Regular: A pre-reserved camping area where you can create your own setup.
• Friends Camp Comfort: Includes a picnic table (one per eight people) for extra convenience.
• Friends Camp Deluxe: Comes with picnic table(s) and a shade shelter, adding both comfort and style to your camping experience.
  
  

The Friends Camp packages for Defqon.1 2025 are sold out. It is no longer possible to add people to your Friends Camp as we are at maximum capacity.

 

Defqon.1 tent pick-up package

For the Weekend Warriors who don’t like to bring a tent, we offer the limited edition 2-person Defqon.1 2025 pop-up tent. This tent has the new 2025 artwork and is an icon on our campgrounds. Go for the ultimate experience and treat yourself to the Defqon.1 Sleeping Package as well. Camping has never been easier.

Your tent and other camping gear can be ordered in the Click & Collect shop and picked up at one of the Pick-up Points at the Defqon.1 campgrounds.
Please be aware that the Defqon.1 Campgrounds are only accessible for guests in possession of a weekend entrance ticket.

 

Cottages & Apartments

Please note, the Holiday parks packages for Defqon.1 2025 are sold out. 

Prefer to rave during the day and relax with your friends by night? The Defqon.1 cottages and apartments, which are located at one of the holiday parks close to the Holy Grounds, are your accommodations. We offer cottages & apartments at: 

• Landal Waterparc Veluwemeer
• Molecaten park Flevostrand
• Europarcs de IJssel Eilanden

 

These packages include: 

• 4-night stay at the Holiday Park
• Free daily shuttle between 10:00 and 02:00
• Access through the special bus entrance at Defqon.1
• Free parking at the Holiday Park
• City Tax and VAT 

 

Each Cottage & apartment package includes a daily shuttle pass to and from Defqon.1 for each person. The shuttle bus will run at various times throughout the day. Please be aware that this shuttle could have a delay due to traffic.  

Please download your shuttle voucher before check-in at the reception, you will need this to get the valid shuttle passes. When leaving Defqon.1, please follow the ‘Bus Exit’ signs to find your bus again.  

 

Hotel packages

All Warriors need a good night of sleep after a long day of raving at the Holy Grounds. We’ve got you covered with one of our dedicated Defqon.1 hotels, which are located closest to Defqon.1 and include a Defqon.1 welcome gift. Or choose to stay at one of our other hotels with a defqon.1 hotel package.

 

All the hotels are available in combination with both a day- and weekend ticket and always include a 2- way Saturday transfer to and from the festival site, a 2-way transfer for the other days can be booked with the reservation of your hotel package.  

 

Please keep in mind that these are fixed transfer times. If you missed the bus or if you are not able to make it to the bus on time, Q-dance travel cannot arrange any other transportation or provide refunds.
